O'Neil Lawn Care was started with nothing more than a dream. The entrepreneurial spirited Kevin O'Neil dreamt of owning his own business one day. With plenty of failed online businesses throughout high school, he searched YouTube for new ideas. He came across a video titled, "Make Money Mowing Lawns," and went to work right away.

 

Kevin used his Dad's equipment and his Mom's minivan to offer his services to family and friends. He viewed this as nothing more than a side hustle during high school. But realized its potential as a business when he heard Mike Ande's success story years later.

 

Upon college graduation, Kevin decided to go full-time in O'Neil Lawn Care and hasn't looked back since.

 

His advice for anyone looking to start a business is to, well, just START. "You'll never feel qualified enough for the risk you're about to take," Kevin explains, "you'll tell yourself you're not good enough or you're going to fail. But you won't know unless you try. Take risks, make mistakes, and learn along the way. Persistence and communication are the keys to success in business."
